This is a thought and a feeling most founders/entrepreneurs experience.
We don’t talk about this often enough. We need to.
The very notion of ‘how to keep going’ resonates not only with me but with so many other founders I know who sometimes question the nature of what they’re building and why they’re doing it.
Here are a few more that may help:
Build processes and workflows and trust it — being overwhelmed is normal, but doing this consistently helps with delegating work, vision/clarity and execution
Generate momentum and take action every day — speaking with customers, make marginal improvements to the product, do some marketing etc. Anything that will move the needle slowly but surely.
Consistency — do it even if you don’t feel like it with cadence. Easier said than done. But, the only limitation right now is yourself, and the only one who can move the business forward is also yourself.
Control what’s in your control
It’s hard enough going out on a limb, taking a big risk, and not knowing what success looks like or how to measure it, but no matter what happens, rest assured that the outcome will be a rewarding one filled with learning experiences and a new perspective.
